There is a world border setup to maintain a decent storage size of the world. Every major update that Mojang brings to Minecraft that effects terrain generation, the world border will subsequently expand ~1k-3k blocks in all directions to allow for newer chunk generation to occur. This allows us to keep our world a small size and for newer chunks to be closer to us when we update.
The world initially started at a 10k block radius from spawn. This is signified by The Wall, a massive Attack on Titan themed wall that surrounds what we call the inner chunks. In BlazeCraft lore, this wall protects us from the outer update chunks.
The current size of the world border is: 12,500 block radius from spawn.
Redstone does not have any limits on this server. However, we try our best to minimize lag by requiring that Redstone machines have an on/off switch and have overflow protection via item burning/voiding. This keeps the server lag friendly for everyone while giving Redstoners the freedom to create their crazy contraptions. Creating machines that intentionally impact lag is a violation of Rule #1.
BlazeCraft is primarily an English-speaking server. Please keep conversations in English unless you are in channels specifically designated for other languages.
This helps staff moderate more effectively and ensures that members can communicate clearly.
Occasional non-English words/phrases are fine, but entire conversations in other languages should stay in designated spaces.
The economy is currently a WIP feature. Currently we use Diamonds as an in-game currency to trade for materials, valuables and services offered by other players.
Villagers have been slightly modified that allows their trades to never have to refresh. Meaning, you can infinitely trade with villagers without having to wait for them to refresh their trade limit. This is to help reduce the need to obtain multiple similar villager types (Multiple farmers for example) which helps reduce the number of entities in trading halls. This significantly helps reduce stress on the server's performance with the side benefit of reducing the grind a bit for those who can't spend as much time online.
Members are allowed to create their own trading halls and keep villagers around, but please try to keep it limited. There is also a public trading hall available in the End.
Gravity block duping is allowed āļø- as it helps preserve our deserts and gravel mountains. The Gravity Block Duper is available publicly in the End since it requires using an End portal.
TNT duping is allowed. āļø
Item duplication (Diamonds, tools, etc.) is not allowed. ā
Non-gravity block duplication is not allowed. ā
All types of rail duping is not allowed. ā
Tripwire hook duping is not allowed. ā
